We welcome you for in-person Shabbat morning services this Shabbat at Kahal Joseph. We ask that all our members and friends of all ages who attend prayers strictly adhere to the mask mandate and wear masks at all times while indoors at Kahal. We must protect each other. If you see something, please say something to your fellow worshippers so that we all stay safe and healthy. We ask you to use your judgement in assessing your health to protect yourself and others, and look forward to seeing you once again at Kahal Joseph.
Shabbat services at Kahal Joseph are a celebration of God’s gift of a Day of Rest to the Jewish people and our families. Each week, we break from worldly pursuits for a night and a day, and set aside quality time to spend with friends, relatives, and our Creator.
As a community, we gather together for beautiful services that are conducted with the dignified melodies and customs of Baghdadi Jews. The three-door Ekhal filled with Sifre Torah from all over the world is a sight to behold, inspiring us to thank God for our noble religious values and unique cultural heritage. Prayer services begin at 9:00 am on Saturday mornings.
